Core Services
Integrated services covering the complete operational pathway β from regulatory strategy and product registration through to importation, warehousing and last-mile delivery.
Service 01
Regulatory planning and registration support adapted to each market. Medbridge coordinates the regulatory pathway from device classification through to submission, authority communication and post-approval maintenance.
Each market has distinct requirements β Hong Kong's medical device listing system, Singapore's HSA framework, Malaysia's MDA processes and Thailand's FDA registration β and Medbridge manages each according to the applicable country rules.
Important: Medbridge supports the regulatory process but cannot guarantee approval outcomes or fixed authority timelines. Timelines are always subject to authority procedures and applicable regulations.
Service 02
Local representation for manufacturers without their own regulatory infrastructure in each market. Medbridge provides the required local presence to support product listings, maintain registrations and manage ongoing authority interactions.
Each country uses different terminology and legal frameworks for local representation. The correct designation is always used for each market β whether that is a Local Responsible Person in Hong Kong, an authorised representative in Singapore, or the applicable equivalent in Malaysia and Thailand.
Service 03
Registration and licence structures designed to protect manufacturer flexibility β where permitted under local regulations. Medbridge maintains registrations separately from individual commercial distributors, enabling manufacturers to retain control over their regulatory assets.
This service helps manufacturers avoid situations where a registration is held by a commercial partner who may not act in the manufacturer's long-term interest. Structures are designed on a market-by-market basis in consultation with qualified local regulatory advisers.
Note: Whether Medbridge can act as registration or licence holder depends on the applicable regulations in each country and the product classification. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Service 04
Compliant importation into each market without the manufacturer needing to establish a full local entity. Medbridge coordinates the appointment of a local importer, manages import documentation and supports customs-clearance procedures.
Import requirements differ across all four markets and depend on product classification, country of origin, value and applicable permits. Medbridge does not guarantee customs clearance but coordinates the process through qualified local partners and approved procedures.
Service 05
Specialised storage and order fulfilment for regulated healthcare products, coordinated through qualified healthcare logistics partners in each market. Medbridge manages the service relationship and quality oversight β not a general freight platform.
Services are designed around the traceability, expiry management and handling requirements of medical devices and regulated healthcare products β not repurposed from general commercial logistics.
Note: Healthcare 3PL services are coordinated through qualified local logistics partners. Medbridge does not claim ownership of warehouse facilities in each market unless separately confirmed.
Service 06
Delivery from warehouse to the point of care β hospitals, clinics, laboratories and healthcare dealers β coordinated through approved delivery partners in each market. Scheduled and appointment-based delivery as standard.
Proof of delivery and delivery-status reporting are provided as standard. Surgical-case coordination and capital-equipment delivery support are available where operationally validated in each market.
Service 07
Optional commercial support beyond regulatory approval and logistics β available where manufacturers require additional assistance with market positioning, distributor identification or launch planning.
Commercial services are structured separately from regulatory and licence-holding services to maintain transparency and avoid conflicts. They are contracted under a separate commercial agreement.
Note: Commercial support is contracted separately from regulatory and logistics services to maintain the transparency and neutrality of Medbridge's position.
